It all started with one little suggestion….
Our Story
Trevor likes to say that this is all Kristin’s fault. (Kristin disagrees.) Although she did suggest that he find something he wanted to collect. But she had no idea that little suggestion would turn into a full-blown obsession.
Trevor started collecting rocks from estate sales and antique malls, then gem and mineral shows. As his collection grew, so did his desire to learn more about everything related to rocks and minerals. Then he needed a saw to cut rocks. Then he needed a CabKing to polish them. You see where this is going….
In the blink of an eye (okay, it took a few years), our garage was converted into a rock cutting / polishing / tumbling workspace. And now, well…we have a lot of rocks. So many, in fact, that we decided we ought to share them with other rockhounds and collectors, and so, WonderPlanned Lapidary was born!
